00:04I'm alright, I'm okay.

00:06I watched the first couple episodes.

00:09Really rough, it was rough.

00:10I don't know who that person is.

00:12I look disgusting, I give myself the ick just looking at it.

00:14Really?

00:15It was just a very shell of a human being.

00:17I was very disgusted with myself, very emotional, very sad.

00:22But again, that was a year ago.

00:23I'm in a very different place now.

00:24Yeah, you seem to be great.

00:26Healthier, put on a little weight, healthy weight.

00:29But I'm really into my fitness and health and trying to take care of my body

00:33and trying to make things right with Brittany and take care of our son.

00:37How are you two doing right now?

00:39I know it's hard, you guys are in the same room right now.

00:41Is that fine?

00:43How are you guys co-parenting?

00:45Yeah, I mean, we talk every day.

00:48We're okay today, but God knows what's going to happen tomorrow.

00:52But yeah, any divorce goes through this.

00:56I don't know who doesn't go.

00:57I mean, 82% of the nation is divorced.

00:59So it happens.

01:01So I don't know.

01:05It's just a tough thing, but we're going to be okay.

01:07One day at a time.

01:09You recently spoke out about Cruz's autism diagnosis.

01:12What were the emotions you were feeling when you finally got that diagnosis?

01:16And how are you guys co-parenting through that?

01:19You know that we've known for a while.

01:20We just didn't know.

01:21Obviously, being a public figure, we have to be very gentle how we do things.

01:24Cruz did not sign up for this life.

01:25He just, you know, unfortunately, and he's literally the best thing that's ever happened to us.

01:30He's a, you know, I get emotional just talking a lot because he's so delicious.

01:34He's so smart.

01:35He's so intelligent.

01:35Yeah, he's lacking a little bit in the verbal, but, you know, he'll get there, you know,

01:39and he's got such a huge support system.

01:41Brittany and I aside, you know, we put our stuff aside.

01:45We just want that little boy to thrive, and that's the most important thing.

01:47It's not about her and I.

01:48It's about him.

01:49And he's in school, and he's in speech, and he's in occupational therapy, and he's in swim.

01:54He's involved in so much.

01:56It's just, you know, it's just taking him a little longer.

01:58But you know what?

01:58If he wants to live with me the rest of his life, that's fine by me.

02:01Why was it important for you two to speak out about that and spread awareness?

02:05Because I feel like there's a lot of parents going through this.

02:07There's a lot of people, and I would love to connect with other families.

02:09I want to be a part of charities.

02:11I want to help raise money, raise awareness.

02:14It's a really big deal in today's society.

02:16So if we can, you know, help kids out and get, you know, understand this a little bit more,

02:22or, you know, help kids get treatment, whatever I can do, I feel like this is what I'm here for,

02:27and I want to help.

02:28So anybody listening to this that's involved in autism awareness, let me know.

02:33Has it brought you and Brittany closer together?

02:36Yes and no.

02:38Yes and no.

02:38Yes, obviously it has, but I mean, it's not the main reason why we're not getting along.

02:45I don't want people to say that, yeah.

02:48Day by day, is there any update on the divorce, the house, anything like that?

02:51I gave it all to her, so it's just...

02:53It has it all.

02:54I don't really believe in fighting and arguing over things like that.

02:57I don't want Brittany and I to go to war.

02:59I don't want to fight over dishes and things like, just to have it.

03:01And by the way, my son lives there.

03:03I don't want to uproot him, and I want him to be happy, and I want everything to just, you know,

03:06I go to his house to take care of him.

03:08I don't want him to go jumping house to house to house.

03:11I don't want that.

03:12So I want it just to be a very smooth transition.

03:14I'm there.

03:15I'm still there.

03:16I was there yesterday.

03:17You know, we're talking today, so...

03:20That's good.

03:20You know, and we're trying to do this as amicably as possible.

03:23But yeah.

03:25You know, you and I spoke about you opening up about your addiction and becoming sober,

03:29which is amazing, and Brittany has expressed skepticism about this.

03:34What is it going to take to regain her trust?

03:36You know, you're just going to have to watch.

03:38It's about me right now.

03:39I'm going to be selfish.

03:41She's going to have to just see.

03:42I'm not going out of my way to prove to anybody.

03:44I'm proving it to myself and my son.

03:46That's all I care about.

03:46I'm 133 days sober.

03:48I have no interest in drinking again.

03:49I've had no triggers and no issues with it.

03:51The only thing that gives me a little hard time is social situations, because I've always

03:55used drinking alcohol as a buffer, and I don't know really how to be social without it, so

03:59that's a hard thing for me.

04:01Other than that, I'm okay.

04:03I'm okay.

04:03Yeah.

04:04What's your response to viewers and fans who are skeptical about your sober journey?

04:08Everybody's going to be skeptical, and I don't really care what other people think.

04:11I'm doing this for me and my son.

04:12That's it.

04:13So I don't really care.

04:14I mean, I hope to be a success story, you know, because I was literally at the bottom

04:18of the barrel.

04:18What you're about to see is the worst time I've ever had in my life.

04:22So it was scary looking at that person.

04:23It was a shell of a human.

04:25And to see that, to see where I am now, night and day.

04:28And it's what?

04:29A hundred and thirty days?

04:30A hundred and thirty three days.

04:31Yeah.

04:31Amazing.

04:32Yeah.

04:32That's so great.

04:33That's something to be, you know, proud of yourself for.

04:35I appreciate that.
