Scott Parker wants his side to stay focussed, committed and confident in the final five games of the season as the race for Premier League promotion heats up.

00:00First and foremost, the commitment levels of what we've brought this season

00:04needs to be a given, and I don't question that one bit.

00:07We've proven it over the course of this, and with five games left,

00:11I suspect that'll be exactly the same.

00:13I often speak about the emotional rollercoaster of what end of seasons bring,

00:18and I bring the experiences in as me as a player in that.

00:20Teams that I've been in that have won leagues, teams that I've been in

00:23that have been relegated, and at the final stages of any season,

00:26the emotional rollercoaster is the key.

00:28And I'm very conscious of that, really.

00:31So we're in an unbelievable place, and we've done that through a real consistency

00:35in behaviours and a real consistency in mindset.

00:39You often ask me about what other teams are doing, or you can go X amount of points,

00:44or they can go X amount of points away from you.

00:47I've been very consistent with the team, and I've been very consistent with you.

00:50It's absolutely irrelevant, and we need to stay focused on what we're doing

00:55each game as it comes, with the same commitment, the same confidence,

00:58the same energy and enthusiasm.

01:01We're in a blessed position.

01:03We started out this season wanting to be contending to get automatic promotion,

01:09and the bigger picture was wanting to get promoted.

01:11And we're in a blessed position, like I said, because that's where we're competing now.

01:16It could always be very, very different, and you can see,

01:19and I could reference many, many teams that all wanted that same goal this year

01:23or throughout the seasons of being in the championship.

01:25So we need to take this with huge energy and huge excitement.

01:29We've put ourselves in an incredible position,

01:30and we need to keep driving that, really.
