00:29First of all, can you introduce yourself?

00:32What is the Salingawi Dance Troupe?

00:34The USC Salingawi Dance Troupe

00:36is the official dance troupe of the University of Santo Tomas.

00:39The word Salingawi is actually

00:41a combination of the former Gawi and Lahi.

00:44That's why the group is primarily a folk dance group,

00:47but we also do ballet, jazz, and contemporary.

00:50And we heard that you have a dance musical

00:57Can you tell us what the theme is?

01:01Every year, we have our annual dance concert.

01:04And for this year, we are doing an original dance musical.

01:08It's entitled, Ondine, Ang Nimfa ng Lawa.

01:11It's about a nymph named Ondine

01:15who falls in love with a mortal

01:17and how she fights her forbidden love.
