00:00Because I won. It's good to win. You heard I won, right?
00:05Did you hear I won? Just to back it up.
00:09You were there. I won.
00:11What's your handicap these days?
00:12I like to win very low. I have a very low handicap.
00:15Okay, let's go.
00:16Sir, the Chinese foreign ministry said that the market has spoken when asked about the tariffs.
00:24What do you make of that?
00:27When they look at the fact that we have a billion dollar trade deficit.
00:32When you look at the trade deficit that we have with certain countries, way over a billion per country.
00:39But with China it's a trillion dollars.
00:42And we have to solve our trade deficit with China.
00:45We have a trillion dollar trade deficit with China.
00:48Hundreds of billions of dollars a year we lose with China.
00:51And unless we solve that problem, I'm not going to make a deal.
00:55Now I'm willing to deal with China, but they have to solve their surplus.
00:59We have a tremendous deficit problem with China.
01:03They have a surplus of at least a trillion dollars a year.
01:07I think it's like a trillion won.
01:10And I want that solved.
01:12And no other president has taken it on.
01:14I had it taken on the last time.
01:17And then we had a rigged election.
01:19No other president has taken it on.
01:21And so China is, you know, they say the market's smoking.
01:25China is right now taking a big hit.
01:28Because everyone knows we're right.
01:30They have to pay tariffs because otherwise we have a surplus that they have a surplus with us that is not sustainable.
01:39And we're talking about a trillion dollars, you know that, right?
01:43We're not going to lose a trillion dollars for the privilege of buying.
