00:00The MRT-3 and LRT-2 were given a free ride for the war veterans that will last until Friday, April 11.

00:09The MRT-3's operation is suspended for the upcoming Holy Week.

00:20Princess, the MRT-3 announced that their weekday operations will be extended

00:27due to the good reception of the public.

00:30The action was also followed by the Directorate of Transportation, Secretary Vince Dizon,

00:35who will be able to provide for the passengers to rest and have time to travel at night.

00:41According to the leadership of the MRT-3,

00:43up to 61,000 passengers were able to travel in the additional operating hours

00:48after the two-week pilot test.

00:51The MRT-3 will deploy additional trainsets on the revenue line

00:55to improve the travel time during rush hour.

00:58Because of this, the travel time of the trains was extended by an hour,

01:02with the last train to North Avenue Station at 10.30 p.m.

01:06and at 11.09 p.m. at Taft Avenue Station from Monday to Friday.

01:11Meanwhile, the MRT-3 and LRT-2 will be given a free ride for the war veterans.

01:18This is a reward for the veterans who fought in the Second World War.

01:24This is the Philippine Veterans Week.

01:26The free ride started last Saturday, April 5,

01:30and it is said that it will last until Friday, April 11.

01:34Valid IDs from the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office or PVAO

01:39or from the security officers of the MRT stations are required.

01:43Princess, the MRT-3 has also announced that their operation will be suspended

01:49from Wednesday, April 17 and it will last until April 20.

01:56This is to improve the annual maintenance activities of the entire MRT-3 line.
