00:00Not only for fitness and as a hobby, Alden Richards and Barbie Forteza are now interested in running.
00:10They shared with me the advocacy related to their running.
00:14Here's my story.
00:19It's still early in the morning, Alden Richards and Barbie Forteza are getting ready
00:24with some of their friends like its showtime host, Kim Chu.
00:28to join a fun run today.
00:31In the past days, Alden seems to be interested in running.
00:35Actually, there are a lot of sports that can help our health.
00:42But I think one of the most available and easiest to do is running.
00:49Running gives Alden his much needed cardio.
00:53But there's a deeper reason for his running.
00:57Running is more than just a sport already.
00:59The number one reason is for my sanity.
01:02Running has a psychological effect on me.
01:05So, like this, it's a different world for me.
01:12At 4 a.m., even when Diwa is still awake, I tried and accompanied Alden to their warm-up run.
01:19Barbie and I shared the same sentiments in the early morning run.
01:24It's the first thing in the morning.
01:25I already achieved something, I'm already productive,
01:27and it motivates me to go through your day.
01:32Aside from physical and mental health benefits,
01:34Alden and Barbie want to elevate their running and use it for a good cause.
01:40After the warm-up, the group went straight to a fun run for a cause
01:45with hundreds of supporters here.
01:48It's more meaningful for me because this is a charity fun run.
01:53For the children with cancer, I'm so, so thankful to Alden for inviting me to this run.
01:59Aside from running, it's also helpful,
02:02just like what was organized by Asia's Multimedia Star on May 11
02:06for the workers of the Filipino Film Fund.
