00:00On Friday, Dato' Sri Menteri Besar asked our views as a member of the National Parliament
00:13to continue the reception of the Raya Madani that is scheduled today, 6th April, from morning
00:19to noon at Padang Kawat, Pecukayan Academy in Bangi.
00:24Patronas announced that they will cancel the reception
00:31and as a result of the consultation with PMX, we decided to postpone it
00:41to give solidarity to the victims.
00:45I understand that the caterers and those who have been involved earlier
00:51have issued calls and so on.
00:53Therefore, we will continue to cook and caterer.
00:57We ask for food delivery at PPS and orphanages and charities.
01:04So, for the 141 homeowners who still live in PPS,
01:09I also understand that school will start tomorrow.
01:12Maybe some will return to the routine of sending their children to school and so on.
01:18So, at the level of the state government, through ESCO Mobility,
01:21we will facilitate with the help of 10 vans,
01:24Demand Responsive Transport, to send children from point to point,
01:30meaning from PPS to school.
01:32We have a record of 34 schools where students or victims' children go to school.
01:39But for convenience, we choose 10 vans for delivery.
01:44That's the first point.
01:46The second point is the idea of ESN Islam Darul Esan
01:49to donate school supplies.
01:51As a result of my consultation earlier,
01:53there are still those who have not received school supplies.
01:56At PPS, they received a record in terms of size of clothes and so on
02:00to ensure that these children,
02:02of course, the school supplies are also burnt and damaged in the incident.
02:07And the third thing I see at PPS,
02:09the attention is not only from a physical point of view,
02:12that is food, clothing, and also welfare in that area,
02:17but more towards emotional support.
02:20And at JKM, I am quite pleased to see the support of counsellors
02:26who hold activities for children.
