00:00Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra's troubles don't seem to be ending anytime soon.
00:05On Saturday, Mumbai's Ghar police sent him a third summon and asked him to appear for
00:10questioning the same day.
00:12Earlier, the Ghar police has already issued two summons asking Kamra to appear, but he
00:17did not show up.
00:18The first summon was sent on 27th March, asking him to appear on 31st March.
00:23However, Kunal didn't turn up.
00:26As per police sources from the Ghar police station, Kamra is currently not in touch
00:30with them, even through his lawyer.
00:33After receiving the first summon, Kunal had requested time till 2nd April, but police
00:38refused to give an extension and asked him to appear on 31st March.
00:42Since the second summon, police say that Kamra has had no communication with them.
00:46Meanwhile, the police have already questioned and recorded statements of several people
00:50connected to the Habitat studio and this controversy.
00:54Interrogation of other people related to the case is still going on.
00:57Also, on 25th March, Kamra said that he is currently out of Mumbai and that's why he
01:02couldn't appear before the police.
01:04He requested one week's time to return to Mumbai and join the investigation.
01:08Meanwhile, on Instagram, Kunal Kamra shared a post condemning the vandalising the Habitat
01:13studio.
01:14He also made it clear that he will not apologise for his comments.
01:18On 1st April, the Madras High Court granted him interim anticipatory bail.
01:22The court has given him protection till 7th April under certain conditions.
01:26Kunal had requested inter-state bail citing his residence in Tamil Nadu.
