00:00My name's Tom Truven, I'm a farmer based in Buckfastlea in South Devon.

00:05We're here today, Farmers to Action, outside the Bedford Hotel in Tavistock,

00:10protesting against the inheritance tax, the change in subsidies, the food pricing, you name it.

00:17Whatever the government have done basically at the moment, they're aggravating anybody and everybody.

00:22The MP inside is David Zeitner, he's the Minister for Food Security.

00:26He's also the one responsible for getting rid of the Sustainable Farming Initiative

00:30and not replacing it with anything, which means most farmers will be left with the rug pulled out from underneath them.

00:36Hopefully he'll listen, although we doubt it.

00:39So we're here to make as much noise as possible and make him listen and see what happens.
