Karate Kid Legends Movie (2025) Trailer - US Release Date: May 30, 2025 Starring: Jackie Chan, Ben Wang, Ralph Macchio Directed By: Jonathan Entwistle Synopsis: In Karate Kid: Legends, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City with his mother. Li struggles to let go of his past as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn't want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. 00:05This time, Mr. Han together with Lauzo.

00:08You, uh, knew Mr. Miyagi?

00:10I did not come looking for Sensei Miyagi.

00:12I came looking for you.

00:13Seeing how important Li Fang is to Mr. Han

00:17and Daniel's relationship to Miyagi,

00:19there's a parallel there.

00:20There's the kung fu he learned in Beijing through Mr. Han,

00:23but he's entering a karate tournament,

00:25which is a different type of martial arts.

00:27And now combining those worlds in an authentic way,

00:31the kung fu ancient way and the karate Miyagi way.

00:35It's something fresh.

00:36Two branches, one tree.

00:39Thank you, Sensei.

00:40So many friends sent a letter, sent a picture,

00:43sent a video to me.

00:44They all want to play Karate Kid.

00:46Then I see Ben acting, fighting,

00:49the stunt team training with him.

00:50I said, wow.

00:51This is something that I've always wanted.

00:52It was hard, but it's basically living the dream.

00:55His work ethic, his preparedness is awesome.

00:58I want the Li character to almost feel

01:01like a young Jackie again.

01:02And that humor, which he does so well.

01:06Now you see me, huh?

01:08It really felt like Ben, Jackie, and I all were experiencing

01:13something great together.

01:17The action's good.

01:18The comedy's good.

01:20Watching story in the fight is what's interesting.

01:23And they've put a lot of that in this movie,

01:25along with some really incredible action choreography.
