The Evolution of the Fighter in World War II :
The World War Two period saw the development of the fighter aircraft from the biplane through to the introduction of the first jet fighter aircraft.

Aircraft featured :
P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk, P-38 Lightning, Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, Messerschmitt Bf 109,Messerschmitt Bf 110 and Mitsubishi A6M Zero.
