00:00Komalek will now begin this week the deployment of balotas, machines, and other election paraphernalia in different parts of the country.

00:15Angelique Puspusa is now preparing the Commission on Elections for the Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:21In fact, it is expected that this week, Komalek will begin the deployment of automated counting machines in different parts of the country.

00:32In just over a month, there will be a vote.

00:35That is why Komalek is now preparing balotas, machines, and other election paraphernalia to be sent to different parts of the country.

00:44In total, from 110,000, 47,000 automated counting machines, or ACM, have passed the Pre-Logic Accuracy Test, or Pre-LAT.

00:55That is why on April 4, or on Friday, Komalek will be able to deploy ACM.

01:01Komalek will be the first to deploy in remote areas, such as the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslimindanao, Barma, Karaga, and others.

01:10On May 5, Komalek is expected to complete the deployment, including the balotas.

01:16In a visit to their warehouse in Santa Rosa, Laguna, and Minyan, Laguna today,

01:22the Commission is assuring that the kits will be complete and will be sent to the provinces, along with the ACMs.

01:28In this process, Komalek will ensure that no one will be able to escape from the deployment of automated counting machines.

01:41where you can see behind me the verified balotas.

01:45The verified balotas, as you can see, are wrapped tightly before being sent to the provinces.

01:51Like this one, we were able to send it to Samar.

01:54The Commission on Elections said that on April 20, the deployment of balotas will begin.

02:00The machines will be sent directly to the election offices, to the provinces, and to the municipalities.

02:10Meanwhile, Angelique, I would like to mention that the Commission on Elections mentioned the incident in Myanmar and Thailand.

02:19Komalek said that they are checking to see if the internet connection in Myanmar and Thailand is good enough.

02:28After what happened in Lindol, they are hoping that the internet voting will be done by the OFWs.

02:36Komalek said that if the internet connection is good enough, the internet voting will be good enough.

02:43But if it is not good enough, they will send machines and balotas to Myanmar and Thailand.

02:49In Myanmar, there are more than 300 OFWs, while in Thailand, there are 8,000.
