Thousands of California Muslims gathered for Eid al-Fitr prayers in San Diego on Sunday (March 30) to mark the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

00:19was held at the San Diego Convention Center, with both men and women attending.
00:25Leading the service, Imam Taha Hassan of the Islamic Center of San Diego made calls
00:31for peace, especially in Gaza.
00:34Also, we should not forget those who are suffering from wars, atrocities and genocide, whether
00:42in Gaza or anywhere in the world.
00:45May Allah grant them peace and ease their situation.
00:50Palestinian-American worshipper Subrain Damanhouri said that although the Eid was a time to celebrate,
00:55it was important to not forget the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
