00:00On March 26, 2025, this Srinagar-bound SRTC bus travelling from Jammu to Srinagar overturned

00:07inside the Banihal Kazikund Navyuk Tunnel, leaving 13 passengers injured.

00:12The entire accident was captured on CCTV inside the Navyuk Tunnel, where a bus rammed into

00:16the side of the tunnel and another bus collided with it, causing the vehicle to flip over.

00:21In the first few months of 2025, Srinagar and the broader Kashmir region had witnessed

00:25a rise in road accidents, resulting in multiple fatalities.

00:29On March 23, at least four people, including three tourists, lost their lives in a tragic

00:33collision between a tourist cab and a passenger bus on the Srinagar-Sonmarg road in the Gund-Kangan

00:39area of J&K's Gandharbar district.

00:41A few days later, at the tunnel, the authorities rushed to the scene to assess the situation.

00:46Rescue teams transported the injured from here to Kazikund Hospital before transferring

00:51them to Government Medical College, Anantnag, for advanced care.
