00:13The American public will hear later this afternoon from the President directly on the topic of

00:19And as you all know, April 2nd day, President Trump has proudly dubbed it Liberation Day
00:23for our country.
00:25What he means by that is it will be a day where the United States of America will no
00:28longer be ripped off by nations around this world.
00:32It will be a day where Americans finally see free and fair trade practices restored.
00:38We are no longer going to allow our allies, our competitors, and our adversaries to take
00:42advantage of American workers.
00:44And if you think about your hometown in the state that you grew up, Main Street looks
00:48a lot different today than it did many years ago.
00:51And President Trump wants to restore America as a manufacturing superpower around the globe.
00:56He wants products to be made right here in our great country with great, hardworking
01:01American hands that will ultimately result in higher wages and more money in the pockets
01:06of the American people.
01:08And he's also, in addition to tariffs, also determined to pass tax cuts later this year,
01:13as he did successfully in his first term, to put even more money back into the pockets
01:17of hardworking Americans.
