02:16So let me tell you, we have already extended a hand of friendship by saying

02:20we are committed to similar agreement. Let us wait for a response on that from the Pakistani side.

02:26How India is going to address the will of the Kashmiri people?

02:32So let me tell you, there is something called prevention is better than cure.

02:36The measures that we took were preventive in nature.

02:43They were designed to stop terrorists from bleeding our people.

02:49You noticed that in the 10 days that have passed, there are no casualties.

02:56There are no fatalities.

02:59That's because every effort was made to work to ensure that our people in Jammu and Kashmir

03:09are not adversely affected in terms of their lives.

03:12Yes, there is always a difficulty that sometimes these will lead to restrictions.

03:18We acknowledge that. We are an open society. We acknowledge that.

03:21But it's a balance of choice that the administrators on the ground should make.

03:27Not journalists here or diplomats here.

03:30You talked about Pakistan promoting extremist elements in the region.

03:34What do you have to say about the international organization accusing Indian troops

03:39and soldiers committing human rights violations in Indian-administrated Kashmir?
