00:00Okay, so I just met him here in Pandurna, right?
00:06Have you ever discussed mental health in your school?
00:21My entire life shattered, it came crashing down.
00:30Oh, you were in the army, you were supposed to be mentally tough, how could you do this,
00:48how could you do that?
00:49And I'm like, at the end of the day, I'm still a human being, right?
00:53And people would not factor that in.
01:00And my purpose in life was to stand at the border and protect lives.
01:12What I realized was, I could still be inside the border and save lives.
01:18That's wherein I got into mental health awareness actively.
01:30This curriculum includes no different layers, you know, it includes psychological well-being,
01:52SEL, social-emotional learning, life skill training, parent-teacher training as well,
01:58because we need to create safe space for the kids and for the entire environment that
02:04these kids engage in.
02:58It does get lonely, you know, I don't have anyone to talk to, a lot of stretchers get
03:26very lonely.
03:39I find myself to be in a very privileged position, right?
03:42Like, you and I, most of us are very privileged for watching this video.
03:47And while you and I talk about, you know, how mental health is important for us, when
03:52we say us, us includes everyone, the privileged and the underprivileged as well.
