Rahul Gandhi wasn’t pleased when his latest trip to Srinagar turned out to be his shortest.

01:00Some days ago, I was invited by the Governor to visit Jammu and Kashmir and so I accepted

01:26that invitation.

01:27The Governor had suggested that everything is normal, that he would send me a plane to

01:34visit Jammu and Kashmir.

01:36I said that I do not need your plane, thank you, but I will accept your invitation and

01:40I will come to Jammu and Kashmir.

01:42I also took senior leaders of the opposition parties with us.

01:48We wanted to go and see the people, get a sense of what the people are going through

01:55and try and help with the situation if possible.

01:58Unfortunately, we were not allowed to go beyond the airport.

02:03In fact, it's a very sad thing, but the press people who were with us were mishandled.

02:11Some of them were beaten.
