00:00European allies are rallying around Ukraine, but as you said there, the U.S. has a much

00:06stronger army, if you want to put it that way, military and intelligence.

00:11Is the U.S. actually worried about all these meetings in Europe? Do they take any notice at

00:16all? It depends on who you ask. If you're going to ask me, of course, as an American

00:22and an American national who believes in the Constitution and what the United States was

00:28founded to espouse, I'm concerned about our leadership in the world, and we should be

00:35playing arguably a larger role in terms of world affairs, given our contribution historically.

00:42So giving away some of that control, while Europe, of course, should participate to the

00:49extent that the European nations want to do that, certainly the United States has earned

00:55the respect of the world in terms of a global power and having a say in international affairs.

01:01Losing some of that position is something that I certainly am not thrilled about,

01:08but then again, to each their own, and contributions should be respected.
