The BJP has suspended Karnataka MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal for six years due to repeated 'anti-party' activities.

00:00Big breaking news coming in from Karnataka the BJP cracking the whip on

00:04MLA Basangada Patil Yatnal for anti-party activities. He's been suspended for six

00:11years and this is because Yatnal has repeatedly taken on BS Yadu Rappa and

00:16taken on the family including Karnataka BJP chief BY Vijendra and now because of

00:21the same disciplinary action being taken by the BJP against Yatnal he's been

00:26expelled from the party. He's been accused of repeated violations of the

00:31party discipline. Why? Because Yatnal in the last many months has publicly taken

00:36on Yadu Rappa accusing him of being infatuated with ensuring that his son

00:40has powers and saying that Yadu Rappa doesn't care about the party only cares

00:44about his own family. He said Vijendra is close to DK Shivkumar and it's over

00:49these kind of comments are the fact that despite multiple notices Yatnal never

00:53stopped making these kind of comments that now he's been expelled for six

00:57years with immediate effect. Now Yatnal has also reacted to this where in fact

01:02he's dismissed it remaining defiant saying I will continue to do what I do

01:06and even at this point continues to mock Yadu Rappa.

01:23So Yatnal in that statement saying everyone from Yadu Rappa's family has to

01:41come sons grandsons even bring their house dogs and puppies what more is left

01:46to say this is the reward for working hard this is the kind of statements a

01:49guy that Yatnal is making right now after being expelled from the party

01:54clearly at this point not repentant remaining defiant absolutely is one of

02:03the motor mouth when it comes to the VJP party and this is not something new even

02:07for the party members as well as the people who know him very well he has

02:10made these kind of controversial statement despite on 10th of February

02:14there was a show-cause notice which was being issued to Basanagoda party Yatnal

02:18he continued to make a statement against VSD Yadu Rappa against BJP

02:23president as well as other party members from past few days and it was on

02:30expected line that the party might take some kind of disciplinary action and now

02:34they have suspended him for next six years he is not supposed to hold any

02:38kind of position within the office and his even the primary membership has been

02:43expelled for six years what's prompted this kind of actions a guy Yatnal yes

02:50has been a very vocal critic of Yadu Rappa but is this an attempt by the BJP

02:54to kind of quell factionalism within the Karnataka BJP unit absolutely it's an

03:03open secret that there was a factionalism within the Karnataka BJP

03:07unit and even if you notice that Yatnal statement was a major a drawback or a

03:13setback for the BJP in 2023 election and he was one of those person was

03:18responsible for BJP to lose a huge number of seats in the North Karnataka

03:22region because he has openly spoke against the party stating that the

03:26there's a huge corruption charges in the BJP party and he has also a slammed BS

03:32Yadu Rappa when he was a chief minister and despite there were warnings which

03:36was been issued stating that whatever the problem whatever the grievances

03:40whatever the complaint that he had to raise he should freeze within the four

03:44walls of the party but still he made public statements and despite those

03:48warnings he continued to make those statements attacking BS Yadu Rappa and

03:52family members and as well as the corruption charges against them now it

03:56has hurt the party in the 2023 election and despite that he has not let any

04:00lessons he continued to bash BS Yadu Rappa's family and now again even if you

04:05see the latest soundbite which he spoke in Delhi he says that all his family

04:09members including dogs will also come but this is what the reward that he is

04:12getting just speaking being a hard-working party worker it's because

04:18of perhaps that kind of a reaction that the BJP has decided to take this

04:22disciplinary action because Yatnal has refused to you know step back he's

04:28defiant praising it out saying he will continue to target Yadu Rappa clear

04:32evident in the reaction that he's given now saying even Yadu Rappa's dogs in his

04:37house will continue to go forward but those who work hard will be punished in
