Venezuela maintains efforts to rescue migrants in the U.S. and El Salvador

The Venezuelan government has intensified its efforts to repatriate Venezuelan migrants from the United States and El Salvador by resuming repatriation flights as part of the “Plan Vuelta a la Patria” (Return to the Homeland Plan). teleSUR

00:04Maduro, reaffirmed his pledge to the Venezuelan people to repatriate the migrants detained

00:08in the United States.

00:09The head of state, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out during the event that they are already

00:13pursuing legal action against the Salvadoran government and that a heavy escorpus appeal

00:17was filed demanding the release of the Venezuelan migrants who were kidnapped by the U.S. and

00:22held in concentration camps in El Salvador.

00:25For his part, the Venezuelan leader pointed out that the actions of the United States

00:29against Venezuelan migrants are a violation of their human rights and demanded respect

00:33for the same.

00:34In this regard, President Maduro pointed out that the bands of coyotes were controlled

00:38from the U.S. by leaders of the Venezuelan far right.
