00:00The James Bond franchise has found its producers in Amy Pascal and David Heyman.
00:06Pascal and Heyman have been tapped by Amazon MGM to steer the new Bond film,
00:10the first to be produced by someone outside the Broccoli family. Pascal will produce the
00:15film via Pascal Pictures, with Heyman producing via Hay Day Films. Pascal is the producer behind
00:20the Spider-Man franchise, with the Tom Holland-fronted films grossing over $3 billion
00:25at the global box office, while Heyman shepherded the Harry Potter franchise,
00:30including the spinoff series Fantastic Beasts, to commercial highs. It wasn't made immediately
00:34clear if they would be producing Bond titles beyond the immediate next film. The selection
00:38comes after Amazon MGM closed a deal with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson,
00:43the producers whose family has been producing 007 movies since the 1960s, to take over creative
00:49control of the Bond franchise. Pascal and Heyman said in a joint statement,
00:53James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema.
00:57We are humbled to follow in the footsteps of Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson,
01:01who made so many extraordinary films, and honored and excited to keep the spirit of
01:05Bond very much alive as he embarks on his next adventure. For much more on this story
