00:03I believe to my core that there's only one right way to do this job.

00:22My loyalty is to the Constitution and to the rule of law.

00:25There isn't a person on this planet whose lobbying or influence could convince me

00:31to just drop or abandon a properly predicated and meritorious investigation.

00:37If the president asks you to do something unlawful or unethical, what do you say?

00:43First I would try to talk him out of it, and if that failed, I would resign.

00:47No one asked me for any kind of loyalty oath at any point during this process,

00:52and I sure as heck didn't offer one.

00:56Do you believe that the Russians were involved in trying to influence the 2016 election?

01:01I have no reason to doubt the intelligence community's assessment.

01:05You're going to be the director of the FBI, pal.

01:08So here's what I want you to tell every politician.

01:10If you get a call from somebody suggesting that a foreign government wants to help you

01:16by disparaging your opponent, tell us all to call the FBI.

01:21To the members of this committee, any threat or effort to interfere with our elections

01:27from any nation state or any non-state actor is the kind of thing the FBI would want to know.

01:34Do you believe that in light of the Don Jr. email and other allegations

01:39that this whole thing about Trump campaigning Russia is a witch hunt?

01:43I do not consider Director Mueller to be on a witch hunt.
