00:00Mr. Parker, in the past you've pled guilty to breaking the law at the 2015 showdown between

00:07the Bureau of Land Management at the Bundy's Ranch in Nevada.

00:11Will you obey these laws and follow the Constitution, even if you disagree with them?

00:17It was 2014.

00:19Okay.

00:20Um, misdemeanor obstruction.

00:23That's the charge I took.

00:25I would take two more misdemeanor obstructions to stand up for the First Amendment.

00:32So, yes, I will follow the law.

00:48But an unjust law is an illegal law per the Constitution.

01:18When's the federal government supposed to have an army that comes against we the people?

01:27When did that ever happen in America?

01:30It happened on Bundy Ranch.

01:32They stuck their guns down our throats.

01:44I was scared out of my mind.

01:47But I did think to myself, if they shoot these people, somebody's got to stop them.

02:14This picture made its way around the world in the news and then was kind of co-opted

02:29by the Patriot movement in terms of, you know, they turned it into memes, these sort of patriotic

02:37sounding memes about, you know, resistance to the federal government.

02:42They made t-shirts out of it.

02:44It just, you know, it kind of blew up.

02:46And as a result, this completely unknown, you know, non-player in the Patriot movement

02:52became kind of a force to be reckoned with.

03:12In 2016, I assumed with the election of Donald Trump that this would sort of appease the

03:20Patriot movement and they would sort of have someone who kind of shared their disdain for

03:26the federal government in charge.

03:28That is not what's happened.

03:30I think they've been emboldened by Trump's sort of appeals to them.

03:43In most states, self-defense laws have been chipped away down to nothing.

03:47On November 3rd, I'm asking for your vote so that together we can maintain and preserve

03:52those freedoms that we all cherish.

04:00I think Eric Parker wants to go mainstream.

04:11What I'll do more than that is try to make sure that that doesn't happen.

04:16That those unjust laws don't get put in place and put people in positions like I was in

04:23where I had to make a decision where I would put my freedom at risk to defend the First

04:28Amendment.
