00:00I'm singing on the radio, I'm being a pop artist, and I'm singing about girls on the radio.

00:17I do feel very honored and humbled by the title that has been bestowed upon me.

00:23But it's a lot of pressure.

00:30I remember in 7th grade I came out to one of my friends, but I didn't tell my best friend.

01:00Because I was too nervous.

01:01Every time I told someone and every time I came out I was always very emotional.

01:05Because it felt very vulnerable.

01:09I felt very uncomfortable because I felt like I had to sell sex, even though we were very young.

01:39Girls Like Girls was a turning point where I released this video.

01:56I didn't put myself in the video.

01:58I wanted to really focus on the story and the topic and the conversation.

02:05And then after that, I was like, oh, I'm not being judged.

02:11This is cool.

02:17I just love the process.

02:18I love casting.

02:19And I love telling stories that maybe someone hasn't been exposed to.

02:34It's really been a gradual thing where I release a music video and I push the boundaries a little bit more.

02:45And I push the boundaries a little bit more.

02:47And then every time I start to love myself even more and feel really comfortable with who I am.

03:04Just be yourself.

03:33Just be yourself because you're going to be able to break stereotypes and do what you want to do.

03:38Because I'm doing it.

03:40And if I can do it, you can do it.
