00:00Anti-trans legislation targeting trans children is being introduced and in some
00:06cases becoming law all around this country right now.
00:11I recently just came out as a part of the LGBTQ community. Loving who you want
00:26to love is totally awesome. If you want to fall in love with a girl, if you want
00:31to fall in love with a boy, if you want to fall with somebody who is a they them
00:35or who is non-binary, that is incredible. Black lives matter. Black trans lives
00:41matter and I know we're gonna keep spreading that message of unity and
00:46justice until every one of us is safe to live the lives we love. Trans students
00:52want the opportunity to play sports for the same reason other kids do, to be a
00:57part of a team where they feel like they belong. We shouldn't discriminate against
01:01kids and ban them from playing because they're transgender. We stand with GLAAD
01:05on this one and we're not gonna back down. LGBTQ youth, you have power too.
01:10Follow GLAAD now and get involved in activism. Let's use our power to move the
01:16Equality Act forward. Look at what LGBTQ teens have done in a decade. Imagine what
01:23we can do in the next one. To the trans youth watching right now, we want you to
01:27know that you're anointed. That despite all the attacks that might be happening
01:32against you, you are divine. You deserve to be here and you are here for a reason.
01:38You must survive to fulfill that divine purpose.
01:46you
