00:00When I was 15 years old, and I talked about earlier, I was evicted. We were evicted out of

00:04our one-bedroom apartment in Honolulu, Hawaii. We were forced to leave the island,

00:08and here we are today. I heard a quote when I was 15, and I thought, if I'm ever in a position one

00:14day, I'd love to be able to live this quote. And I figured this is the perfect time to deliver this

00:21quote to you guys, because it means so much to me in here, in my mana, in my spirit, which is,

00:27it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

00:49You know, professional wrestlers are entertainers, but they're crazy. And I grew up in a world of big

00:57crazy, entertaining men who learned me, all right, who learned me early the value of discipline

01:06and the steel hand.

01:08I come from that crazy, at times, dysfunctional wrestling family. My dad, my grandmother,

01:33grandfather, uncles, cousins, you name it. I was playing for the Calgary Stampeders. We were

01:49playing the BC Lions. I was so excited. Two days later, I got cut. It's a dream shattered,

01:56sent home with seven bucks in my pocket. It was at that moment that I decided that

02:00I was done playing football. My very first match in the WWE was at one of their biggest

02:14pay-per-views of the year called Survivor Series in the most famous arena in the world,

02:21Madison Square Garden, where my grandfather wrestled in the 70s for Vince McMahon's dad.

02:26My dad wrestled for Vince McMahon in the 80s, and here I came in in 1996.

02:48The Scorpion King. It's just a matter of having a diverse career and wanting to work in as many

02:53different genres as possible. Because I'm really good at it.

03:15It's actually Maui's shapeshifter demigod of the wind and sea,
