00:28No responsible leader can put the workers and the people of their country

00:36at this debilitating and tremendous disadvantage.

00:42It's crunch time at the climate change conference in Paris.

00:46Still some really tough negotiations going on.

00:48The rest of the world applauded when we signed the Paris Agreement.

00:56They went wild. They were so happy.

00:58Every nation in the entire world agreed to get to zero greenhouse emissions.

01:03It is unprecedented.

01:07The United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

01:17I do think it is an actual mistake, both for the U.S. and for our planet.

01:24What we did today sets us back decades.

01:27Everyone is impacted, and if we do nothing,

01:30our children will know a world of migrations, of wars, of shortages.

01:36A dangerous world.

01:38The next generation would be justified in looking back at us and asking,

01:41what were you thinking?

01:42Couldn't you hear what the scientists were saying?

01:44Couldn't you hear what Mother Nature was screaming at you?

01:47It is not the future we want for our children.

01:51It is not the future we want for our world.

01:55So please, Mr. President, choose the future.
