01:28of the English language and words and my dad's natural gift for, like, melody and music.

01:58Really, all I care about is the words, you know, the words in these people, that's it.

02:19In hip-hop, things have been said so many times that the only way you're going to say

02:24it new is if you say it honest and genuine, you know, because nobody can say it how you

02:29can say it if you're honest with yourself.

02:32But if you start trying to just say it to say it, you're going to say it like somebody else.

03:24Fame me later was just a point in my life where I felt like I needed to, like, prove

03:33to everybody, like, okay, yo, people accept me, look, look, I could get, I could do songs

03:38with this person.

04:29It was unexpected, I recorded it in a hotel room in London.

04:45I don't know if there's a song on this album that I can say, like, oh, well, I did that

04:49for that reason.

04:50No, it's all just, like, I did it because I would want to listen to something like that

04:53and I'm really proud of it.

05:23I've always just felt like an outsider naturally, you know, and I think that just has to do

05:45with, like, the better you do at music, the more you're going to feel like an outsider.

05:50It doesn't matter.

05:51I could be from Australia, you know, I could be from anywhere.

05:53It's just when you start doing well, people will make you feel like an outsider.
