Thailand may get its first-ever transgender prime minister. But before that happens, she'll have to navigate a lot of hate not often associated with the gay-friendly nation. ️

00:00Nowadays people saying, oh you are transgender, okay you become you want to become a prime minister. It's gonna be funny.

00:19People do think that Thailand is some sort of paradise for trans people, but actually it's not.

00:30In many ways, Thailand is actually quite an intolerant place.

01:30Transgender is not a funny or different group of people.

01:57We try to show the society our good point of view.

02:04We hope that transgender people will be accepted by the society 100% in the future.

02:28Even if I cannot achieve or I cannot become Prime Minister, it's already fine.

02:36Because I am the first one who dare enough to announce, to allow myself to tell the society that,

02:46hey, we can do it.

02:50We are not saying we are better than male or female.

02:54We just want to say that we are equal.
