00:00Almost 176 Filipinos who fell victim to scum habs in Myanmar are expected to be repatriated in the coming days.

00:09According to the first batch of the victims who arrived in the Philippines,

00:13they were recruited through WhatsApp, Facebook, and Telegram

00:17due to the recruiters' too-good-to-be-true offer to work abroad.

00:22Meanwhile, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs,

00:25the operators used the victims to deceive people

00:28by using various types of scams like love and cryptocurrency scams.

00:55You'll pass through Sambuanga or Palawan,

01:00then you'll ride a boat, you'll walk for a few days.
