00:00Hi everybody, my name is Joel Baylos and I am the creative director on Dune Awakening.

00:17Soon we are going to be opening pre-orders for the game.

00:20So today I would like to talk to you about our post-launch plans so that you can make

00:24an informed decision about your purchase.

00:27The key things that you need to know about Dune Awakening's launch are that it will

00:31not launch in early access and it will not have a monthly subscription.

00:37It will receive regular free updates including new content, new features and quality of life

00:43improvements.

00:45And in addition to these free updates we will offer optional DLCs.

00:50We will be releasing major free updates expanding the story and adding new content and features.

00:56And with each major update we will release a DLC.

00:59There will be an option to buy a season pass which includes several DLCs but you'll also

01:04be able to buy them standalone when they release and as they release.

01:08Some additions of the game will also include a head start of five days starting on the

01:1215th of May.

01:13Sure, this allows people to get into the game early but it also helps us to make sure that

01:18we can balance the server load as people come into the game through launch for the best

01:23possible experience.

01:24And players who want the fresh start experience will still be able to play on new servers

01:29which will launch when the game launches on the 20th of May.

01:33Lastly, we'll be releasing a blog with all of the information I've shared and it'll include

01:39updated PC specs for running the game.

01:42Our benchmark mode is also still live if you want to check how your PC will run the game

01:46before you pre-order.
