00:00Pope Francis returned home to the Vatican after he was hospitalized for five weeks with

00:07a life-threatening bout of pneumonia.

00:10Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital he was staying in to greet him.

00:15Doctors who announced his release said he needed two months of rest, during which he

00:20should refrain from eating with big groups of people or exerting himself.

00:25But they said that eventually he should be able to resume his normal activities.

00:31The 88-year-old head of the Catholic Church suffered two crises while hospitalized, but

00:37by the beginning of the fourth week, doctors said he was no longer in critical condition.
