00:15And one of the things you'll observe tonight about I and my colleagues is we all love each
00:20other because we've gotten to know each other in the fight.
00:24There's one thing that I want to say to you all is our fight started way before just a
00:28couple of months ago.
00:30We've been working together for years battling for our democracy and for our republic.
00:38But the last two, two, two and a half months has been a fight.
00:48I'm a Democrat, but, but I'm fighting for Republicans.
00:57I'm fighting for independence.
01:00I'm fighting for a green party.
01:04And Tish, I'm fighting for the rent too damn high party too.
01:11This is a fight for our republic.
01:13I'm just getting personal before I just sit down.
01:16I've got a daughter in law school right now.
01:19She's, she's approaching the end of her second year.
01:24So a year from now, uh, I look forward to going to her graduation more so than that.
01:29After she takes the bar, I look forward to put her, putting her right hand up and swearing
01:35to uphold the constitution.
01:43And guess what each and every one of us did.
01:46We put our right hands up and we swore to uphold the constitution.
01:53And President Trump was elected and he put his right hand up and lied.
02:04Every act has been contrary to the document.
02:09We all as Democrats, Republicans, independents are supposed to uphold the most.
02:16And so our fight is, I want this to be clear.
02:20Our fight is not a partisan fight.
02:26Our fight is a fight for the laws of the United States of America.
02:31And more important for the people of the United States of America.
02:42Now we have something in our AG community called the platkin, platkin principles.
02:49We are guided by the platkin principles and that I want to bring up the super powerful
02:57AG of the great state of New Jersey, my good friend, Matt Platkin.
