00:07that will cross the Silang Interchange and Governor's Drive of Dasmarinas, Cavite.

00:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. himself inspected the Subsection 3 of Cavite-Laguna Expressway.

00:25The President visited the Governor's Drive Interchange of Calax in General Tria City, Cavite.

00:32He was accompanied by Public Works and Highway Secretary Manny Bonoan, Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon,

00:39DILG Secretary John Vicremulia, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan,

00:46and Metro Pacific Poll Race Corporation President and CEO Jose Maria Lim.

00:51The Calax Subsection 3 will have a length of 8.64 kilometers.

00:57And this will connect to the Silang Interchange and Governor's Drive.

01:02This is part of the 44.57-kilometer Calax Project that has 8 subsections

01:10that will connect to Cavitex-Sacawit and South Luzon Expressway in Binan-Laguna.

01:18This will be the tollgate of the Governor's Drive Interchange of Calax.

01:22It is expected to be completed in the third quarter of the year.

01:25Calax is a public-private partnership project of the government and MPTC.

01:31It is also part of the Infrastructure Flagship Projects of the Marcos Administration.

01:37At the time of completion, it will be able to speed up the journey from Cavite to Eslex in 35 minutes from the current 2 hours.

01:47Its goal is to reduce traffic congestion on nearby roads such as Governor's Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, and Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road.

01:57And almost 100,000 motorists will benefit from this every day.

02:01It is also expected to strengthen the economy, trade, and tourism in Cavite, Laguna, and other provinces in Calabarzon.
