00:00and let's look a little bit back at your time at Oregon. You, I mean, it's kind of unusual to see a guy play his whole career at one college right now, especially in this frontier of football we have going on.
00:11So what has kept you at Oregon for all five of those years? Yeah, honestly, it was a family appeal.
00:17It was the fact that they had they had something that I feel like no other school could really offer.
00:21Yeah. Like, you know, football is football. You know, X's and O's are going to be what it's going to be.
00:25But there's something different about this family atmosphere up here in Oregon.
00:28And especially with the new coaching change, when Lanny came up here, the football added the football side, the SEC type of field that he brought up to Oregon.
00:36It made it kind of a non-negotiable. It was like you don't have to go anywhere because you get the best of both worlds.
00:40And then the icing on the top. Well, I mean, the cherry on top was when we got invited to the Big Ten my last year.
00:46So it was like you literally don't have to go anywhere else because you get the best of everything right here.
00:50So absolutely. And you've had three offensive line coaches while you've been at the University of Oregon.
00:55That is Alex Mirabal, Adrian Clem and as well as Alik Terry.
00:59What is something you've learned from each of those coaches that you keep with you going through this draft process?
01:05Yeah, I would say Clem just got Clem for sure to go out and play my game.
01:09You know, he was an NFL coach and he didn't you know, he didn't over coach himself.
01:13He kind of just did whatever he wanted to do. He was like, just go do your thing and just whatever you're confident in, go do that.
01:20Mirabal, he gave me a great foundation understanding like football schematically.
01:24So it didn't matter what I named the play and things like that. He helped me understand football basics one on one.
01:30So no matter if you want to change the play from yellow to green, the future to violet,
01:33like I would be able to understand the schematics of the play through and through.
01:36And then Terry, same thing, understanding a deeper dive because he did play.
01:39He did coach on the defensive side when he got to the NFL, understanding defensive schematics and how defenses work in the unison and things like that.
01:47How everyone has a gap and every gap needs to have a person.
01:50So being able to have all those coaches underneath my belt and have those guys in my corner is phenomenal for me going through this process.
