00:00The Department of Agriculture, D.A. announced the removal of the case of African Swine Fever
00:05where it has reached 36 barangays.
00:08It is still affected from the previous 66 areas in February.
00:14According to Agriculture Spokesperson, Assistant Secretary Arnel Demesa,
00:19most of the active cases are in Region 7, especially in Bohol.
00:23A large part of the removal of the case is because of their border measures,
00:28ASF vaccination, and proximity to heat.
00:31As of now, 27,937 doses of Avac-Ly vaccines have been prescribed in 29 farms in Luzon.
00:41The D.A. continues to hope that the number of ASF cases in the country will go down.
00:46With the help of government initiatives,
00:48ASF-Avac-Ly vaccines are now the target of commercialization before the third quarter of the year.
