00:00This is nothing new in IPL.
00:02Like you said, 3 years ago, you could only retain 3 players.
00:07This time, you can retain 5 players.
00:09It's better than before.
00:11And, as I said, every year is a new year.
00:15All the players are used to it.
00:17Everyone knows that they have made some changes.
00:19International cricket is a part and parcel of it.
00:21Especially, Jai's cricket.
00:22They all are used to it.
00:24Every 3 years.
00:26If not all, at least 3% of them.
00:28We are looking ahead.
00:30It's a great combination.
00:32There are youngsters and experienced players.
00:35People like Josh Butler, Ravi Swarabada.
00:37There are a lot of experienced additions.
00:39The way we started, let's try to take it forward.
00:42See, it has been talked about.
00:44It's not that it's not been talked about.
00:46You can see, obviously, the runs there.
00:48Different wicket-keeping camps and all of that.
00:50Even with the Indian teams before,
00:52the wicket-keeping coach has been on.
00:54But, actually, India is a specialist job.
00:57So, we do have specialist bowlers, fast bowlers, spinners,
01:00or a bad-ass coach.
01:02You need good guidance from the wicket-keeper as well.
01:05Sometimes, in trainings, it may get neglected.
01:09But, if you have a wicket-keeping coach,
01:11it actually adds value to the team.
01:13So, it's actually not a bad idea
01:15to have a wicket-keeping coach with the team as well.
01:18Firstly, Josh Butler has brought in a wicket-keeper.
01:23And, Indian fast bowlers,
01:25and Indian wicket-keepers,
01:26and Indian fast bowlers,
01:27are the only ones who can do this.
01:28So, I think we have great spinners.
01:30We have the best wicket-keeping spinner in our team.
01:34That speaks for itself.
01:36And, with that, we have a good combination of Indian spinners.
01:40We have Sai.
01:41We have Washington,
01:43who has been part of the Indian wicket-keeping team
01:45for a very long time.
01:46So, I think we have got some very experienced spinners.
01:49I think, if you look at the past three years,
01:52we are the team with the most wins,
01:54and the highest percentage of wins.
01:55So, if we continue to do that,
01:57it's going to be another great season for us.
01:59And, just because it's a new season,
02:01I don't think we have to do anything different.
02:03I think, over the past three years,
02:05we have played the most consistent cricket.
02:07And, the wins and the matches,
02:10that speaks for itself.
02:12And, I don't think we need to change anything.
02:14We will continue to keep playing the cricket
02:15that we have been playing over the past three years.
02:17Firstly, I don't think, as a team,
02:20we are trying to chase 300 as a total.
02:22That's not what our aim is.
02:25We want to play the kind of cricket
02:28we will assess what the condition is
02:30and what the situation is.
02:31And, we want to play that kind of cricket.
02:34If the wicket or the situation
02:36allows us to make 240, 250, 260 runs,
02:40yeah, we are not saying no to that.
02:41But, there might be a situation
02:43where 150, 160 would be an ideal total on a wicket.
02:47And, hence, I feel as a team,
02:49if you are only looking to play one game,
02:51then you are not adapting the things
02:54how you should.
02:55And, a great team, the hallmark of a great team
02:57is that it adapts the best to the suitable conditions
03:01and the challenges that are thrown at them.
