00:00Yeah, my question was I did a project in Canada last year in which they charged $15,000 tariff
00:08on a $40,000 project that was sent up into Canada.
00:13Why is it we're not supposed to charge a tariff when they charge us tariffs to send our products
00:20to them?
00:23Well, that's a good question.
00:30Many of the way that the tariffs have been working has been negotiated, right?
00:36And again, like I said, on the offset, our current trade with Canada and Mexico is being
00:44governed by the trade deal that was negotiated by Trump.
00:52What is harmful is the tariffs that are being proposed that are supposed to go into effect
01:03on April 2nd, because it is going to be a blanket at 25%.
01:10And Canada has said they are going to reciprocate.
01:13And that for us in Minnesota, when we have $22 billion in trade with Canada, that's going
01:21to have devastating impact on all kinds of markets in our state.
01:28And that's what we are fighting against.
