00:00Multiple Graded Sticks winner Concrete Rose recently had her first foal, a filly, by OXO

00:10Equine's Instagram.

00:11We visited the pair at Taylor Maid Farm.

00:15Concrete Rose foaled January 11th.

00:18The foaling was really easy, natural.

00:21It went really well.

00:23She's been a great mother ever since.

00:25The foal is very strong bodied, correct, very nice.

00:29We're very happy with the Instagram so far.

00:32I think we see more of the dad in this filly than the mare.

00:36This filly is very alert to everything.

00:40She pays attention to anything going up and down the barn aisle.

00:43She's very like sassy and like full of energy.

00:45She's got a great personality.

00:49So Concrete Rose, she won the Belmont Oaks, which was a great win for her.

00:54Concrete Rose, Concrete Rose rumps in the Belmont Oaks.

00:59She won the Florida Oaks as well, which was really great.

01:03She went great out at Saratoga.

01:06She's doing great as a mom.

01:08She takes care of her.

01:10She's close by all the time.

01:16So Concrete Rose is going to Essential Quality this year.

01:21I think he's going to do well.

01:24Right now Concrete Rose and her filly are going out in the morning and they come back

01:27up right after lunch.

01:29They'll stay up all night until it warms up and then they'll start staying out overnight

01:35and more often.

01:37As soon as she's out, she is bouncing around, jumping, playing on mom.

01:41Yeah, very active.
