00:00I think it was a bit shocking for me because obviously it was on a lot of headlines and
00:17my intention was never to tackle him like it showed, I just wanted to play the ball
00:24and obviously that happened and I clearly saw that the Argentinian fans were not happy
00:32with that and they made themselves clear, but on a mental level I felt like I was raised
00:40pretty good and I know my worth and I'm not going to get butched by some comments online
00:49and I feel like I'm not valued as I am and I felt like my teammates and the coaching
00:57staff on my national team was really supportive and yeah it helped me a lot for sure.
01:03Yeah I did have a lot of offers after the Copa America but I chose Nice because of how
01:08important they emphasize the human being and you know a lot of top clubs will just find
01:18a player that will perform well but would not really care about how he is mentally or
01:25what's his background, how's his family doing and all that stuff but I just felt like the
01:30organization here was really putting an emphasis on who I am and I felt like this was the right
01:38choice for me and they really take care of their players, they really want to develop
01:44them and they take time to do so so I feel like this was the right club for me because
01:49I'm also in Ascension, it was really fast for me you know I started playing at 23 years
01:56old kind of at the professional level so my career has just begun and on the top league
02:03like this people will, I'd say will have a lot of expectation but this club knows that
02:10yeah I started really recently and it'll take time for me to adapt and they've shown me a lot
02:20of confidence and trust and yeah I'm really proud with my choice. I think that the speed
02:31of play is upper-notch for sure and I also say that like I said earlier the tactical level
02:40over here is a bit faster and you'll have to really understand it, it's just like it
02:47feels like it's a game of chess where you have to play really smart and everything has
02:56to be thoughtful you know and you can't just rush in plays and just make something happen
03:04as you would in MLS you really have to wait for the for a good moment to see the game
03:10opening up and yeah I think as a defender obviously playing against top top strikers
03:16like Azet, Ousmane Dembélé and all that calibre of players I feel like you will evolve
03:25and also learn so yeah this is for sure the biggest difference for me for sure I mean
03:32I was not intending of leaving this club even if we want to enter the Champions League but
03:38obviously it's a dream of mine to play in such a big stage and I'm really excited to do so with
03:44this club because it's a club that gave me a lot of trust and a lot of confidence and I want to
03:50return the favour and perform well in such a big level.
