00:16Baste had cursed the president for turning over his father to the Interpol, which was

00:20serving a warrant from the International Criminal Court.

00:23He also invoked utang na loob, or a debt of gratitude to Duterte, who had allowed the

00:27hero's burial of the late dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos.

00:31In response, Castro said,

00:32"...the President also thanked former President Duterte in 2016, but gratitude should not

00:37be an excuse to derail or betray the enforcement of the law and justice."
