Venezuela denounces criminalization of migrants in the U.S.

The Venezuelan government, through an official statement issued by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, has categorically rejected the policies that the United States has adopted against migrants. teleSUR

00:00On Sunday, Venezuela condemned the criminal and inhumane actions of the U.S. government

00:04against Venezuelan migrants.

00:06The Venezuelan government denounced the persecution of thousands of Venezuelans in U.S. territory,

00:12as well as the expropriation of their personal property, businesses, bank accounts and personal

00:17assets.

00:18Venezuelan officials said that many fellow Venezuelans, mostly working women and men,

00:24are being persecuted at their workplaces, schools, churches and hospitals.

00:28Caracas recalls that many Venezuelans have left the country due to the blockade and economic

00:33sanctions imposed by Western countries, among them the United States.
