00:00Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro explained some of the reasons

00:05as to why the former President Rodrigo Duterte's pre-trial chamber was not given to the ICC.

00:11Here are the details of the national news report of Efraim Gayto on Radyo Pilipinas.

00:18The delaying tactics of the former President Rodrigo Duterte's camp

00:24led to the cancellation of the pre-trial chamber of the ICC this Friday.

00:31In a statement to the Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro,

00:36she explained the reasons as to why the ICC did not give the former President Duterte's camp

00:43to hold the pre-trial chamber next week.

00:47First, the former President is in good health,

00:50so he will still be able to attend the pre-trial proceeding.

00:53Second, there is no need for additional preparation

00:57because the cases that Duterte is facing were just read in the pre-trial chamber.

01:02Third, the language used in the deletion and the schedule of the next appearance of Duterte is the same.

01:08There is no need for further study.

01:14You have all the time, right?

01:15You have parallel defense.

01:17Here, what we will do in the initial appearance is to identify the suspect first.
