00:00But as many of you do know, well, we're focused on persecuting, and these people were really
00:08focused on persecuting Republicans.
00:11The last administration presided over the worst increase in violent crime in our country
00:17in many, many decades.
00:18We had levels of violence and crime, and a lot of it had to do with the illegal immigrants
00:24that came in.
00:25Remember when I used to complain about it?
00:26Because I knew how tough they were, how mean they were.
00:29And they said, no, no, people that come into our country are all wonderful people.
00:33No, they're not wonderful.
00:34These are stone-cold killers.
00:36These are killers like — they make our killers look nice by comparison.
00:42They make our killers look nice.
00:44These are rough, tough people with the tattoos all over their face.
00:48Historically speaking — I don't want to discriminate against anybody, but historically
00:51speaking they're not going to be the head of any major bank that we know of.
00:55These are rough people.
00:57These are rough, rough killer people, and they allowed them in by the millions.
01:01In major cities like New York, Chicago, and Washington, mothers can't walk their children
01:06to the park without fear of being shot or killed or raped or anything.
01:13Women can't ride the subway without worrying that a hoodlum will shove them onto the train
01:19tracks in New York.
01:21It's happened twice in the last couple of weeks.
01:23They're standing there — a perfect Wall Street gentleman, in one case, and another
01:28person who was a worker, good worker, electrician — gets pushed into a train going 45 miles
01:36an hour just prior to the train.
01:38Not stopping.
01:39Going to go through that.
01:40I know the stations very well.
01:41I used to take the subway.
01:42I used to feel safe.
01:43When I was young, I'd go to the — my parents would drop me off at the subway.
01:46I'd take the subway to my school.
01:48Can you believe it?
01:49Today, they wouldn't be doing that.
01:51Now, we want to get a country back maybe where you can do that again, Pam.
01:56But it's so sad to see what's taking place.
01:59Under the Biden regime, average monthly homicides increased by 14 percent.
02:05Property crime rose tremendously.
02:07Violent crime went up at least 37 percent that they know of.
02:11Rape soared by 42 percent.
02:13Car theft rose by 48 percent.
02:15And robberies surged to 63 to 100 percent.
02:19They don't even know what the number is.
02:22And I have no higher mission as President of the United States than to end this killing
02:27and stop this lawbreaking and to making America safe again.
02:31And that's what you're all about in this room.
02:34We want to protect Americans and we protect everybody that's in our country, American
02:39or not American.
02:40We want to have a safe and proud country.
02:42We're joined today by dozens of police officers, sheriffs and sheriffs, deputies from all across
02:48the country.
02:49My message to these law enforcement heroes is simple.
02:52With me in the White House, you once again have a President who will always have your
02:56back.
02:57Will always have your back.
02:58Thank you, folks.
03:00That's a lot of good-looking people, I will tell you.
03:15I feel safe.
03:16I'm glad you're in the room.
03:17I feel even safer.
03:18That's a lot of great people.
03:20On day one, I signed an executive order directing Attorney General to ensure that anyone who
03:25murders a police officer immediately, with as fast a trial as we can have, gets the death
03:32penalty.
03:42And last month, I fired all the radical-left pro-crime U.S. attorneys appointed by Joe
03:48Biden.
03:49There were so many that were bad.
03:50And I know there were some that were probably very good, but there were so many that were
03:54so bad and so evil, so corrupt.
03:57Instead of having Marxist prosecutors who want to put police officers in handcuffs and
04:02go after a police officer rather than a criminal, I appointed patriotic tough-on-crime warriors
04:08who will partner with police to put dangerous offenders behind bars, put them in jail.
04:14We're fully reviving 1033 program to provide state and local law enforcement with surplus
04:21military equipment.
04:22Though we have so much of it, I did it in my last administration, and I remember Obama
04:26wouldn't do it.
04:27He wouldn't do it before me, would not do it, because he thought it made them look too
04:33strong, too military.
04:34I said, no, that's what I want them to look like.
04:35I want them to look strong.
04:37And it was protective, defensive equipment.
04:40We had billions of dollars.
04:41I gave it out, and now I'm going to have a chance to give it out again.
04:44They didn't want to do it with Biden, and Biden didn't know why.
04:47I didn't, you know, if they would have asked him, he wouldn't have been able to answer
04:50the question.
04:51He could never answer a question.
04:52They said my press conference yesterday was longer than all of Biden's press conferences
04:57put together for the last four years.
04:59And I don't know if that's true, but it was close.
05:04And perhaps most importantly, we're securing our border and repelling the invasion of America.
05:09We have you see the numbers have come down.
05:13So and Tom Holman and Christie were have been incredible.
05:17Christie Noem, Secretary, she's done great.
05:20And Tom Holman is I don't know if Tom Holman is here, but wherever he may be, I think he's
05:25chasing people out of our country.
05:27If he was here, I'd almost be disappointed.
05:29What are you doing, Tom?
05:31But he's a fantastic guy, and he's a brave guy.
05:34Over the past four years, other countries emptied out their prisons and jails, mental
05:39institutions and insane asylums and sent the killers, drug smugglers and bloodthirsty
05:44inmates from the filthiest dungeons of the world straight into the USA and open border.
05:51We had an open border policy.
05:52Anybody could come in no matter what you were, no matter where you came from, no matter what
05:56you look like, no matter what you were doing, no matter what you did, no matter how many
06:01people you murdered, you could come right into our country.
06:03We have murderers right now walking the streets.
06:07We're joined today by Tammy Nobles, whose 20 year old daughter, Kayla, was attacked
06:12in her home three years ago, horrifically assaulted and strangled to death by an illegal
06:17alien MS-13 monster set loose into our country under the open border Biden regime.
06:25Kayla was one of countless American victims ripped away from their families by the open
06:30border policies of that administration.
06:33We're also joined by Kayla's stepfather, Jeremiah, and several other courageous angel families
06:39here today.
06:40And I'd love you to all just stand up and take a bow because you are incredible people.
06:45Please.
06:49Thank you very much.
07:02Thank you very much.
07:08But I want you to know that we are working every day to expel these savages from our
07:12country and ensure that what happened to your loved ones will never happen again.
07:17So their legacy is going to be a great one.
07:19Thank you all very much.
07:20We appreciate it.
07:22On day one of my administration, I declared a national emergency on our southern border.
07:27In our first full month in office, we achieved the lowest level of illegal border crossings
07:32ever recorded.
07:33Okay?
07:34Even lower than four years ago.
07:41For years, Democrats and the media kept saying that we needed new legislation.
07:45We had to have new legislation.
07:47We needed it immediately, and I'd never had legislation, and I had the best border in
07:51the history of our country for almost four years.
07:55And by the time I got out, we had the lowest numbers ever.
07:58My favorite chart of all time was brought down that day.
08:01And on that chart, it said we had the lowest numbers ever.
08:04But it turned out that we really didn't need new legislation.
08:09All you needed was a new president.
08:18And I said that.
08:19I said that the other night.
08:21That's all you needed was a new president saying, close the borders because the Border
08:25Patrol is unbelievable, ICE is unbelievable, and all of our law enforcement is just incredible.
08:31All of you guys are amazing.
08:33And the people of our country respect you and they love you.
08:36And a lot of times you don't hear that because you have to listen to the fake news back there,
08:40but they have great respect for you.
08:43So I just want you to know that.
08:44And you know, that includes our fire departments too.
08:47They don't get spoken about enough.
08:49You know, they go into some of the areas I read where they're shooting them off ladders.
08:53Can you believe it?
08:54They go up to put out a fire, Leo, and they go and they shoot them off a ladder.
09:00It's just unbelievable.
09:01These firemen and women are incredible.
09:03So I want to put them in the same category because they're just incredible.
09:06I also like that the fact they voted for me like at 94 percent.
09:10So I have to mention them.
09:11I have no choice.
09:12Right.
09:13But the truth is they're phenomenal people.
09:15The law enforcement, fire, everybody, they're phenomenal, basically first responders because
09:20that's what they are.
09:21They're first responders.
09:23And we're ending the migrant occupation of America.
09:26And what we're doing now is we're liberating our cities and our suburbs and our towns.
09:31And you see a big difference.
09:32I'm getting calls all the time from even leaders of other countries saying, sir, the whole
09:36world feels liberated now.
09:39It feels like there's a light over America.
