00:00We won't sit back and wait for Putin to act.
00:04Instead, we will keep pushing forward.
00:08So the group I convened today is more important than ever.
00:12It brings together partners from across Europe,
00:15as well as Canada, Australia and New Zealand,
00:18with backing from others too, including Japan.
00:22We agreed we will keep increasing the pressure on Russia,
00:26keep the military aid flowing to Ukraine,
00:28and keep tightening restrictions on Russia's economy
00:32to weaken Putin's war machine and bring him to the table.
00:37And we agreed to accelerate our practical work
00:40to support a potential deal.
00:43So we will now move into an operational phase.
00:46Our militaries will meet on Thursday this week,
00:50here in the United Kingdom,
00:52to put strong and robust plans in place
00:55to swing in behind a peace deal
00:58and guarantee Ukraine's future security.
01:00The group that met this morning is a bigger group
01:03than we had two weeks ago.
01:04There is a stronger collective resolve
01:08and new commitments were put on the table this morning,
01:10both in relation to the coalition of the willing
01:15in terms of defending the deal,
01:17also in relation to the wider point,
01:19which is the collective defence and security of Europe.
01:22So more commitments on the table this morning
01:26and an agreement that we now move to the operational phase,
01:28which is why the talks on Thursday,
01:32the military talks, will become the next focal point.
