00:00Senate Blue Ribbon Subcommittee has began investigating the collapse of a bridge in Isabela

00:05with initial findings showing problems as early as 2018. The Department of Public Works and Highways

00:10or DPWH plans to form a committee to determine the cause. Senator Bongrevilla stressed that

00:16those responsible should be held accountable. DPWH Undersecretary Eugenio Pipo confirmed

00:22a structural failure was identified but no suspensions have been made yet.

00:27Senator Alan Peter Cayetano suggested applying preventive suspensions during the investigation.

00:34That's why you have a preventive suspension during the investigation.

00:38And that's why the preventive suspension is a limited period.
