(askanews) - La polizia di New York ha effettuato oltre un centinaio di fermi fra i manifestanti che si erano radunati davanti alla Trump Tower di Manhattan per denunciare l'arresto di Mahmoud Khalil, attivista filopalestinese e studente della Columbia University. I dimostranti hanno gridato "Liberate la Palestina" e slogan che chiedevano il rilascio dell'attivista prima di essere arrestati dalle autorità.La manifestazione era stata organizzata dall'organizzazione ebraica "Jewish voice for peace"; non si sono registrari né feriti né atti di vandalismo.
