00:00The arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte is a big step according to the relatives of the victims of extrajudicial killings.

00:08The relatives of the victims are asking for justice that they have been waiting for for a long time.

00:15Sydney Oliverio of PTV Cebu has news.

00:25We have achieved a partial victory towards our seeking justice.

00:33Partial victory if we consider the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte

00:38for Congresswoman Franz Castro of ACT Teachers Party List.

00:42Castro is with several allies and other members of the cause-oriented groups

00:47including Central Visayas for their support in the arrest of former President Duterte.

00:53The relatives of the victims of extrajudicial killings of the former administration also came.

00:58They are still protecting the crime against humanity in relation to the war on drugs.

01:04But many more were killed by Duterte.

01:09And here is another victim, Chad Bo'ok.

01:13Activists and progressives need to help kill these people.

01:20The justice also called one of the relatives of the victims of the New Bataan Massacre in 2022

01:26where five individuals were killed in New Bataan, Davao de Oro.

01:30Chad Bo'ok, a LUMAD teacher, is one of them.

01:33Three years have passed but what happened to them is still fresh.

01:37The arrest of our former President Rodrigo Duterte is still fresh.

01:43We will continue to fight for justice.

01:50The former President was arrested after the International Criminal Court issued a warrant of arrest

01:55for the crimes against humanity committed by his administration.
