02:25he ended up landing awkwardly and almost falling.

02:27Zendaya then helped pull him up while Holland did his best to stay in character.

02:39he wasn't anywhere near as high up as his character goes in the movie.

03:52Zendaya went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

03:54to talk about what went into filming the epic trapeze scene with Zac Efron.

04:08First of all, props to her for going up there without a net.

04:11That's the kind of spirit that can make it seem truly possible to rewrite the stars.

04:14But, before becoming the magical scene in the movie

04:17that showcases Zendaya and Efron's great on-screen chemistry,

04:21there were some not-so-smooth collisions.

04:40After yet another poor decision by Rue,

04:42the cops find her and chase her during a season 2 episode of Euphoria.

04:55Home.

04:57Running and jumping in an attempt to escape,

04:59at one point she hides in a trash can.

05:01The scene is extremely intense,

05:03capturing both the stakes of Rue's escape

05:05and the emotional weight of her running from her problems.

05:08But there was one moment while filming the scene that was a lot less intense

05:12and it was a much different kind of problem.

05:22That was when Zendaya got stuck in a trash can.

05:24It was certainly one way to lighten the mood,

05:26albeit an unintentional one.

05:38In a dramatic and nearly catastrophic moment during Spider-Man No Way Home,

05:41Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man comes to MJ's rescue.

05:52Zendaya brilliantly captured her character's mental state

05:55given the circumstances

05:56by providing an authentic reaction of both shock and relief.

05:59After her character is saved by Garfield's Spider-Man,

06:02she asks him if he's okay too.

06:07For context, he had lost his love Gwen Stacy

06:09in similar circumstances in The Amazing Spider-Man 2,

06:12making the emotional weight of the scene immeasurable.

06:15While on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast,

06:18Garfield praised Zendaya while implying

06:20that she came up with her line in that memorable scene.

06:35The fight scene between Gia and Rue,

06:38that's a scene that I'm really proud of.

06:40Because it wasn't scripted,

06:42Sam just basically said go in there and fight.

06:45According to Euphoria actress Storm Reid,

06:48the fight between her character Gia and Zendaya's Rue

06:50in the third episode of season two

06:52involved a lot of creative freedom.

06:54In the scene, Gia questions her older sister's lifestyle

06:57and their argument quickly escalates

06:59as they pour out raw emotion.

07:05Zendaya and Reid's chemistry is on full display here,

07:08as are their acting chops.

07:10They nailed the scene with impressive authenticity,

07:13effectively capturing the heat of the moment.

07:15In an interview on Collider Ladies Night,

07:17Reid expressed admiration for Zendaya

07:19and discussed their fight scene,

07:21which was done without a script.

07:23I appreciate Euphoria for what it is

07:26and the emotions that it provokes in me.
